When our teenage son asked if he could have an end of exams party, our immediate answer was no way. Like many parents, we were concerned about alcohol consumption, drink spiking, uninvited guests, contraband, fighting, and all the other issues that can arise when hosting a large group of teenagers. After weeks of persistence from our son, we finally agreed, but only after being recommended Sync District through a friend of a friend. We were told they could help manage all the elements that worried us most as parents, and that's when we got in touch with Andy and his team. Several weeks before the event, Andy visited our home to discuss our concerns, understand how we wanted the evening to run, and provide practical advice and reassurance. His professionalism and experience immediately put us at ease. On the day of the party, Andy arrived with Leo and Mya two hours before the guests, and it was clear from the outset that we were in excellent hands. We had provided a guest list in advance, which they brought with them, fully prepared. Andy and Leo managed security at the door, checking guests against the list, carrying out bag searches, and confiscating alcohol where necessary, as we wanted to maintain control over what was being consumed. They also conducted perimeter checks throughout the evening. A few teenagers arrived who were not on the guest list, but the situation was handled so professionally and discreetly that we only learned about it afterwards. There was no drama, no confrontation, and no disruption to the event. Mya was simply outstanding behind the bar. While the drinks flowed, she was vigilant and responsible, identifying when some guests may have had a few too many pre-drinks and sensibly switching them to water when appropriate. Her approach was professional, friendly, and exactly what we had hoped for. In total, we had more than 75 teenagers in our garden, and thanks to Andy, Leo, and Mya, the evening was a huge success. In fact, it may have been too successful, as our son and his friends are already asking when the next one can be booked! Thank you again to Andy, Leo, and Mya.
